In My Own Style

If you’re looking for a DIY blog that shows home improvement from start to finish, then look no further than In My Own Style. Owned by Diane Henkler, she shares her DIY tips and tricks and talks from experience. This blog is great because it shows Diane’s projects from start to finish. The tips she shares have all been tried and tested in her own home, and there are some really creative pieces. One of our favourite blogs is How to Make a Lantern from a Tuna Can (yep, you read that right). You can tell Diane’s passion for DIY and interior design runs throughout the blog, making it truly inspirational.

The Inspired Room

The main aim of The Inspired Room is to get its readers to fall in love with their house and make it a home. Owner of the Inspired Room, Melissa Michaels has five books surrounding interior design and DIY, and she uses her blog to share even more tips and tricks to help you feel comfortable in your own home. From recommending cleaning and wellness products for the kitchen and bathroom, to repainting kitchen cupboard doors, you could lose hours reading this kitchen blog, and you’ll leave feeling excited and inspired.

Just a Girl and Her Blog

Just a Girl and Her blog is run by Abby Lawson, and whilst it is very sickly sweet American Dream, there are some amazing DIY transformations that we fell in love with. Our main focus is on the incredible kitchen transformation, turning a dark and dowdy kitchen into a fresh, clean white kitchen. We saw a partial transformation where this family changed a few things, and then the finished project after their kitchen was entirely gutted. Check it out here and be amazed by her kitchen design.

Nina Hendrick

Another kitchen design renovation we’re crazy about is this one featured on Nina Hendrick’s blog. Once again, transforming a brown lifeless kitchen into a beautiful white open space, this renovation shows how easy it is to change the way your kitchen looks with a like of paint and some perseverance. Nina’s blog also shares simple seasonal decorating ideas, to mouth watering recipes and healthy lifestyle tips, you’ll be spoilt for choice! Check out more here.

Apartment Therapy

Apartment Therapy is a blog that has it all. Created by self proclaimed apartment therapist, Maxwell Ryan, this blog offers a combination of expert advice, shopping guides, and DIY how-to’s. This blog also caters to a wide range of budgets, perfect for those who have just moved into their first house, and those who have a bit of extra cash. Our favourite category is ‘Project Ideas’ – it looks at amazing DIY projects for every room in the house – what are you waiting for? Have a look!

DIY Tips

DIY Tips is fairly self explanatory. This blog offers a wide range of DIY tips, tricks and maintenance guide to help you turn your house into a home you love. While the website may be very simplistic, the quality of the content exceeds this. The techniques category is great because it gives us a little more information on how to achieve our desired results! Get the learns in here.

Swoon Worthy

Swoon Worthy is a DIY and home inspiration blog owned by content marketer and leading kitchen blogger, Kimberly. What makes this blog so great is that the initial purpose of it was to document the changes made in her Edwardian House, and now it is full of even more DIY tips, tricks and pictures of her adorable pets. Swoon over some of her projects here.
