It is easy to adjust the thickness by Rotating the Dial Button without having to take the mandolin apart like other models.All slicing options are built-in on our device. Slice from extremely thin to 9mm thick. Two julienne settings – 4.5mm and 9mm. NO TOUCHING BLADE to change it out.

Press and turn the cylinder knob to adjust the blade between slicer and crinkle. It is pefect for making sweet potato waffle fries or ruffled potato chips or supper thin french fries.

How to make waffle fry use waffle blade?

1.Push rectangular knob in and turn counter clockwise to set to waffle fry blade;2.Adjust the thickness of the slice by Rotating the Dial Button;3.Pass the end of the potato over the blade, making one ridged slice.Make a straight cut down over the end of the potato and create slices roughly 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick, if not a little thicker.( it it very important)4.Rotate and continue slicing. Rotate the potato 90 degrees, so that the vertical grooves now run horizontally. Make a second slice from this angle.5.The resulting crisscross should produce the waffle fry shape. If you do not rotate the potato, your slices will look like ridges instead of waffles.Continue slicing in this manner, rotating the potato 90 degrees in between each slice. Repeat until you slice through both potatoes.
