A bedsheet is an important aspect without which a bed would look incomplete. Even though a quality mattress and a blanket on top of it really make the bed look amazing, it would always look incomplete without a bedsheet.
There are various types of bedsheets, which mean people have a lot of options to choose from. However, whatever you look for, always make sure you are looking at bedsheets that are cotton-made only. This reason cotton out-performs any other kind of fabric is because it is known to be good for air circulation and provides the utmost comfort.
There are two types of bedsheets:
Fitted Sheet
A fitted sheet is brought to accommodate the mattress. Its corners are elastic which help in perfectly adjusting to the mattress. You however need to be very particular about the size, as you may be able to fit a short-fitted sheet to a mattress, but it would keep coming off the mattress since the fitting would be too tight. In case it is too loose, you would not be able to get a good night’s sleep since sheets will have extra layers hanging on the bed.
A flat sheet is usually placed between the mattress and the blankets on top. A lot of people do not make use of these sheets, as they chose to make use of a comforter, which ideally goes on top of a flat sheet. The best thing to do is to go for these or a light blanket in the summer, and in the winter, you could throw in a comforter on top of it.

A bedsheet is not made of polyester entirely, but is combined with another fabric. This is because polyester is in itself a very itchy fabric and is stiff, so it is not as comfortable as compared to the fabrics.
Because of the material, people have formed a common misconception that these sheets would be uncomfortable. But bamboo sheets are actually made of rayon. This means that during the process of the bamboo being made into a fabric, the resulting sheet is smooth and silky.
This process however involves harmful chemicals, which even though leaves no trace of any once the process is done, is not a very environment-friendly method.
This type of sheets is the best as cotton is always the best fabric to use when it comes to a bedsheet. Most of the stores sell cotton sheets are they are always in great demand, so you do not have to worry about where to find them. The reason these sheets are so famous is because they remain to stay cool even in the hot summers, and even if you sweat or the sheet gets dirty, it is very easy to wash. Just throw them into the washing machine, and they will come out as new.
