As someone who frequently leaves vintage stores empty-handed—womp, womp—I tune into Kellie Brown’s every Reel in hopes that a little of her thrifting prowess will rub off on me. Just a few of the content creator’s found treasures: a pair of etched metal table lamps, a supersize bust, and a marbleized mirror and vanity set. Cue the decor envy!

If you’re in Los Angeles next Saturday, though, there’s an even quicker path to secondhand shopping success. Kellie is hosting a collectors sale on November 9 at the Line Hotel with our former cover stars Jonathon Burford and Jesse Rudolph (go RSVP!). After moving full-time into her Palm Springs weekend house this year, Kellie is making it truly hers—here’s what she has in mind.

What I’m loving right now: The influence of my mid-century bungalow in Palm Springs has me consumed with infusing my space with a nod to the 1970s. Mid-century and postmodern styles have always been a huge part of my design approach, but a little ’70s glam feels like it’s missing. I’m having the most fun delving in.

Why I love it: It feels like the design world is in its English cottage and Victorian antique era. There’s just something so rock and roll about doing my own thing while leaning into the original style of my home.

How I’d bring the look home: I’m not looking to create a time capsule or anything too on the nose, but rather bringing in special pieces that elevate and tie things together.
