Tips

Water exclusively with distilled or rain water, other types of water can prove fatal to the plant extremely quickly.

Carnivorous plants predominantly originate from very moist “boggy” environments. You may want to consider “bottom-watering” your carnivorous plants by allowing your potted plant to continuously sit in a small saucer of standing water.

When mixing your soil for initial use, it is best to thoroughly moisten the dirt mix until completely soggy before using for planting.
