Using a wood steamer involves boiling water in a pan or wok, placing the steamer in boiling water, adding a liner to prevent food sticking, adding food, covering and steaming until the food is finished. A few inches of water at the bottom is enough so that it can generate a lot of steam without boiling immediately, but not so much that the bottom of the basket gets soaked.

When cooking meat, fish or vegetables, we recommend you oil your food on a steam base or cook it on lettuce leaves.

Important: Always make sure you have enough water in your pot!
