How to clean the humidifier?

I bought this for my daughter who has a sinus infection and she loves it. She says it helps her sleep at night and it is very quiet and easy to clean. Just take out the tank and the tank base is very easy to clean.

Depending on the size of the room, I think you can use a higher setting. I use it in my bedroom, controlled by the knob, and usually turn it up to the highest fog output.
