The Ratchet Anvil Pruners utilise an anvil (knife like) cutting action onto a flat lower blade known as the anvil. These particular pruners will easily cut material up to 3/4″ (20mm) in diameter. The ratchet action allows for easier pruning in four short steps, squeeze the handle until the ratchet engages with an audible ‘click’, release pressure and reapply until the next ‘click’ repeat until the cut is complete.
