Note: For the blade to be locked properly, first insert the blade into the blade slot, close the steel clip, and push the vertical lock all the way down on top of the steel clip. While cleaning, when you remove the blade from the blade slot, you may notice that the steel clip swings freely. This is not a defect. When the blade is inserted into the blade slot again, the steel clip will close properly.
