The plastic expansion tubes in the kit have a diameter of 8mm, which theoretically requires an 8mm drill bit. If metric drill bits are hard to find, a 5/16-inch drill bit (≈7.94mm) can be used as an alternative.

How much the spacing between hubs should be?

To ensure proper tensioning of the wire rope, the distance between installation points for cylindrical hubs should not exceed 20 inches, while for cross-head hubs, it should not exceed 60 inches.

When cutting the wire rope, it tends to fray, making it difficult to pass through small holes. Do you have any advice?

Here are some suggestions: 1. Use a high-quality cutter to prevent fraying. 2. Wrap tape around the cutting area to minimize fraying. 3. Bend the end of the wire rope slightly with pliers to make it easier to pass through small holes.
