If you plan to watch the Super Bowl, I have some menu ideas to share. A few of these items are on my regular rotation for Super Bowl and sports watching. You can find a previous Super Bowl menu post on my blog as well as a Super Bowl meal plan.
This year, I’ll make a big batch of Weeknight Chili with all the toppings on the side. You can make it with ground turkey instead of beef if you prefer. Or make this Vegetarian Three-Bean Chili.
No Super Bowl would be complete at my house without Buffalo Chicken Wings. In a cooking class last week, we made Buffalo Cauliflower Bites and Buffalo Brussels Sprouts. Both were delicious!
I love healthy dips with veggies on the side. I have several on my blog and in my cookbook. Cowboy Caviar, White Bean Dip with Rosemary Oil, Healthier Artichoke Jalapeño Dip, Healthy Seven Layer Dip, gluten-free Romesco and Kale Guacamole are all good options. Serve them in small individual glass jars if you prefer and add some crudites to each container.
Here are a few other ideas:
- Baked Feta and Tomato Confit
- Cheese Bread
- The Best Ground Beef Tacos (you can also use the taco meat for nachos, on smashed potatoes or sliced and roasted sweet potatoes)
- La Taqueria Sauce (in honor of the 49ers, this is a famous green sauce found on the tables at La Taqueria in San Francisco’s Mission district)
- Big Batch Jalapeno Margaritas
I have a ton of other ideas inside my award-winning cookbook, Dinner is Done!
